When you are connected to a 3G network, a 3G icon will be visible in the status bar. When you are not connected to a 3G network, the symbol will disappear. With most phones, you can select whether you want to use GSM and 3G networks or GSM only for Sony Ericsson Vivaz



To enable/disable the 3G network for Sony Ericsson Vivaz
1. Select Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Network.
2. Highlight and tap Network mode.
3. To enable 3G, select UMTS. To disable 3G, select GSM.
Note: By default, Dual mode is set.
To be safe or caution, please do not press Internet ICON and certain symbian software than requires 3G Connection like application such as Facebook & Twitter
